Details:	SUMMARY: ALERT ID: CHEM4437 --- The sample collected on 10/05/10 exceeded the MLC for arsenic. DETAILS: 07/15/10 --- I e-mailed Dan Cady a message asking him to send copies of the second and third quarter public notices to the DWP. I also asked him to update me on where he is in the plan review process and how close Valley Vista is to getting a treatment system installed. 08/04/10 --- Dan Cady has not responded to my inquiry: Brad Daniels (DWP) is aware if this and is considering enforcement action. 09/01/10 --- I left Dan Cady a message informing him that he DWP wants a copy of the third quarter public notice by 10/10/10. 10/20/10 --- I spoke with Daniel Hough (DWP) today and Valley Vista still has not completed plan review. A Notice of Violation has been assigned (logged in SDWIS): So far Valley Vista does not appear to be complying with the Notice. ACTION NEEDED: This water system needs to complete the plan review process with the DWP, distribute another public notice, install a treatment system, and continue quarterly arsenic monitoring.
