Details:	SUMMARY: Update on water service to Haven Acres DETAILS: Scott provided me with an update on water service to Haven Acres. Currently service is being provided by the City to all the Haven Acres users. The City and a majority of the 19 Haven Acres users have recently entered into a legal agreement for the City to provide long term water service to users who have agreed to the terms and payment requriemments of the proposal. Those users who do not sign agreement will have their water service discontinued. Specifically, the City has awarded a contract to a firm to build a 3700 foot pipeline to Haven Acres and install a hydropneumatic tank- work estimated to be completed by May 2011. City is working to upgrade Haven Acres pump station facilities sooner with an in-line booster pump. Scott indicated that the Haven Acres pump station has a new double secured door to replace the board propped up to keep door closed, observed in 2008 survey ACTION NEEDED: DWP to continue to check for status updates on improvements to ensure continued water service to Haven Acres.
