Details:	SUMMARY: Broken pipes resulting in not water DETAILS: 1/15/11 Received complaint that were out of water and had intermittent water supplied during the week. 1/16/11 Call to Allen 541-331-1898 & left message. AH returned call to Delbert. Said they had possible broken lines or a leaking storage tank. Delbert told them that disinfection of the system is necessary when low, negative, or intermittent pressure is experienced. The concern being back flow, back siphonage and crude in the pipes. 1/18/11 - Call to Allen H he referred to Perry Hannum 541-892-3549 1/18/11 - Perry said on Jan 10 at 6am there was air in the lines. By 7am they were out of water. 10am pump guy was called. 4pm water was running again. January 11, water was running in the am but out again by afternoon. The operators reportedly found broken water pipes and repaired them. The system issued warning that the system would be out of water while they fixed the system. The system says that they will forward a copy of the notice to the state. I requested a copy also. The system is not chlorinated and they have not added chlorine to the system after repairs or after the loss of pressure event. They now say they will chlorinate the system. Calculation of chlorine amount sent to the park manager. ACTION NEEDED: Chlorinate water system to 4ppm. System plans to take a routine water sample January 24, 2011.
