Details:	SUMMARY: CT Tracer Study DETAILS: The following memo is to outline the methodology that will be used to perform the contact tracer testing for the City of Vernonia. Vernonia pulls water from Rock Creek. Surface water is treated with rapid sand filters with flocculation along with soda ash and chlorine is used to treat the water. The plant is able to produce as much as 900 gpm (0.9 MGD). Chlorine contact is achieved in either one a 30,000 gallon clearwell before the water is sent to the first user or reservoirs. The first user is approximately 100 feet from the clearwell. HBH was contacted by the district to provide assistance with a contact tracer study to determine the amount of contact time in 30,000 gallon clearwell before the first user. HBH completed contact tracer study methodology memorandum. ACTION NEEDED: Complete tracer study.
