| Details: | SUMMARY: 2nd quarter HAA5 above MCL. DETAILS: Called Terry Saubert to discuss the 2nd quarter HAA5 result of 0.0613 mg/L (MCL 0.060 mg/L). Terry said that the chlorine residual has to leave the plant around 1.4 mg/L free chlorine in order to maintain residual throughout the distribution, which could be a contributing factor to the HAA5 result. Terry is increasing the distribution flushing frequency to try and reduce DBP formation. ACTION NEEDED: RAA is still below the MCL. Quartery sampling will continue. No further action required at this time. Re-evaluate after 3rd quarter DBP results are in. | ||
