Details:	SUMMARY: Discussed well construction and extension to administrative order DETAILS: I soke with Jan regarding a conversation I had on June 17 with Mike McCord at Water Resources (WRD). I informed Jan that DWP would be issuing an extension to the deadlines in the administrative order from April 19, 2011. The extension is based upon the statement by WRD watermaster Mike McCord that Santiam Meadows will likely be required to drill a new well in September, and reconstruction the current well at the water system would not be an efficient use of association funds. I explained what Mike McCord told me about WRD granting a water right exception but possible requiring a new well to be drilled. I told Jan we would be issuing an extension allowing the system time to act upon the WRD decision and then collect the outstanding samples, except for lead and copper. Lead and copper still need to be collected by September 30 of this year as the samples are collected in distribution. ACTION NEEDED: Issue extension to admin order allowing adequate time to complete the necessary construction and sampling following the WRD board meeting in September.
