Details: SUMMARY: Positive Ecoli DETAILS: Curt called and said the triggered source sample collected from the north well on 6/7/11 tested positive for Ecoli and that he has shut the well off from the system and will be collecting five confirmation samples today. 6/10/11 -- The triggered source sample from well 2 positive for Ecoli but all five confirmation samples test negative, therefore, it is unconfirmed. Well 2 was valve off afar receiving the results of Ecoli positive and it remains valve off at this time. I spoke with cut today and he will be shock chlorinate well 2 only and pumping it to waste, replacing the three UV bulbs and collection a special sample from well 2 after disinfections. I reminded him to collect the five temporary routines from the distribution system later this month after disinfecting well 2 with water from both wells in the distribution system, for example after well 2 was turned back on. I added that if Curt wants to keep well 2 off he should let me know so that I could notify the state and they could inactivate well 2 in database. ACTION NEEDED: Five temporary routines need to be collected in June, 2011
