Details:	SUMMARY: Follow up on boil water notice DETAILS: I spoke to Ludich at 4 pm today, about the follow up coliform bacteria sample to be taken to support lifting the boil water notice. Ludich indicated he took a sample on 7/27/11 at 9:40 am, prior to replacing the retainer nut on the cartridge unit, flushing the untreated out of the system, and replacing it with treated water. I explained that coliform sampling is a snapshot in time, and we need to take bacti samples after weve moved bad water out of the system and replace with treated water. The system will fully flush system, now that cartridge unit is fixed and ultaviolet light is operational, and take a routine coliform sample on Wednesday 8/3/11. ACTION NEEDED: DWP will support Oregon Department of Agriculture to follow up on information necessary to lift the boil water notice for a treatment violation at the plant. Ludich will take a routine sample on 8/3/11 and have Alexin analyze results.
