Details:	SUMMARY: MCL violation for August DETAILS: System collected 3 repeat samples and 1 triggered source. One of the repeats was invalidated at the lab due to a crack in the bottle. System is to take replacement repeat sample ASAP. The source sample was absent for bacteria. The system has a MCL violation for August. A public notice will be required in the next 30 days. I told Tim this could go out in the next billing in Sept. A copy of the notice will need to be sent to DWP. Gave him advice on purchasing calcium hypochlorite for a batch chlorination of the tank. Recommended 3lbs and also recommended he pick up an extra 3 lbs just in case the system needed to batch again this year. ACTION NEEDED: Public notice will be issued on 8/12 and storage tank will be chlorinated and the system flushed on Monday, Aug. 15th. System to take 5 routine samples in September.
