| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive coliform 7/19/11 DETAILS: Made contact with Les and he indicated this ample showing coliforms present had come from the well head and was intended as a source assessment sample - even though he marked it as a routine. Looking at the state website it shows another sample taken from the 2nd well head also marked as routine and a 3rd sample taken from a mobile home space again marked as routine. He said only one sample should be a routine and the 2 from well heads were supposed to be assessments. I said I would ask for the 2/3 sample designations to be changed to assessment but it was important for the sampler to do the paperwork correctly. The paperwork error would make the system subject to a violation for failure to collect repeat samples and 2 other violations for failure to collect source samples from each well head. Rather than depending on someone at the state to correct the error it would be better to take time to get paperwork correct. ACTION NEEDED: Request total coliform sample taken July 19, 2011 from the lower well results to be shown as assessment and request total coliform sample taken July 19, 2011 from the upper well also to be shown as assessment. | ||
