| Details: | SUMMARY: Delay in well drilling DETAILS: Laura called to let me know that the bid for drilling a new well to avoid arsenic contamination came in $6,000 higher than expected. She believes this will result in a delay in having the well finished, but may still be able to have the well drilled and initial samples collected by December 31, 2011 (which is the deadline for compliance with the arsenic MCL). I also stated that the most recent notice received wasnt adequate and was both missing required information and hard to read due to strike-throughs and writing in the margin. I drafted a new notice and sent it to Laura via email with instructions to distribute the notice to residents at Belle Passi. ACTION NEEDED: Await information about expected date of well drilling and submission of the new public notice after it is published. | ||
