Details: SUMMARY: High risk for contamination DETAILS: Sent letter stating that well #3 was recently selected to do assessment monitoring under the Groundwater Rule (12 monthly raw water samples) Due to Ecoli present on July 14, 2011 corrective action is now required. Gave options of: Drill a new well, Connect to another neighboring well or system. Maintain a free chlorine residual of 0.72mg/L at all times at entry point to the distribution system and submitting a monthly operating report to the state. ACTION NEEDED: Decision must be made by September 30, 2011. Maintain chlorine residual above 0.72mg/L at all times to ensure safe drinking water.
