| Details: | SUMMARY: Discuss decreasing sampling DETAILS: Mr. Rierson called expressing issue with the required coliform sampling schedule for a small system. Stated the population and connections are now lower with several houses vacant. 12 connections, 4 not active average 2 people per connection. The difficulty of getting coliform. Samples to lab pick up site during the inclement weather also is at issue with operator. Discussed with Mr. Rierson the number of connections still required a state regulated system classification and coliform testing is mandatory. ACTION NEEDED: Discussed the ability to do coliform any time during the 3 month quarter. Recommended a late February or early March test to minimize the issue of inclement weather and then a May test for second quarter. Mr. Rierson agreed weather may not be quire at issue and is going to try this schedule. | ||
