| Details: | SUMMARY: Discussed public notice DETAILS: Superintendent Steach called and let me know that he replaced Jeff Rose over the summer. He wanted to know what actions were required now that the 91 School has an arsenic treatment system installed. I informed the Superintendent that public noitce will need to be published due both to standard policy and because DWP has never received a copy that meets the standards. I did state that the notice can explain that the situation is resolved with the installation of the treatment system, but that the notice has to be issued nevertheless. We discussed the fact that the notices previously issued were not adequate and did not include the language required by our rules. We agreed that I would send the Superintendent a copy of the notice that should be distributed, abnd it will be delivered to parents and students. We discussed former students and whether they should receive the notice and I stated that it may not be technically required by the rules, but it would be appropriate because they never received a copy of the notice that met the requirements.
