Details: SUMMARY: Discuss lead alert of 0.0155 DETAILS: 9/22/11- Harriet called to find out what to do about their lead results. I hadnt yet received the alert so I asked her to fax me copies of the results. The main high site is the preschool class at 0.0214. I looked back through the file and found that in 2002 the system also had an alert of 0.018. I asked the school to send me any copies of past lead results they could find. I received results form 2002, 2003, 2005, 2008 and 2011. It appears the system did plumbing replacement in 2002 and the results of the preschool class went form 0.0325 in 2002 to 0.0188 in 2003. Our file indicates the system was going to take the sink out of service. According to Harriet, the sink is only used for hand washing. I explained to her that it is still in-use. I also wanted to find out if they had any testing results from after they initially exceeded that shows they sampled the drinking water fountains. She was going to look further in their files and ask Paul, person who has been taking the samples since 2002, if he remembers anything. ACTION NEEDED: Wait for Harriet to get back to me.
