| Details: | SUMMARY: Follow up with operator DETAILS: The system has had a run of coliform issues over the past 2 weeks. Work has been done on well #1 (enters to reservoir) with new pump and pipe being added to this well. Pump was lowered and during the positive result this well has been shocked and the casing rinsed which caused the well to pump med, sand etc. Operator is looking into raising the pump 20 to assure the pump is not pulling sediment off of the bottom of the bore. Operator to batch the reservoir and shock the well again after the pump is raised. System will continue to use well #2 (pumps to distribution) until well #1 is raised. System is going to be without power (9/1/11) Pacific Poser planned outage, which will complicate the shocking process. ACTION NEEDED: Batch the reservoir and shock well #1, continue to use well #2 and leave boil water notice up until source water can be determined clear. Test both wells in the next round o testing. Notify public health with actions taken and test results. | ||
