| Details: | SUMMARY: Follow up on Sept survey DETAILS: Jeff updated me that as of, 10/28/11, system has a Hach bench top meter that has been calibrated with up to date EPA-approved standards. System is now using new bench top meter for compliance readings. System is researching on-line meter reading capability, with a digital memory card to store filter effluent turbidity readings and a high NTU alarm, plant shut down level, as permanent solution System will still need to determine how to distinguish when the plant is actually on, when the on-line reading capability is developed so data is only recorded and reported to the DWP when the filter plant is producing water. I reminded Jeff that DWP requests the sample port be prior to clearwell and chlorine addition. ACTION NEEDED: Jeff will visit plant next week, to meet with operator (Martin van Dyken) to see how such an on-line read capable NTU system would be plumbed. System to update DWP as necessary, and DWP to provide SWTR compliance support. | ||
