Details: SUMMARY: Nitrate sample at 6.8ppm DETAILS: Left mark a voice mail regarding the recent test results. This system continues to test quarterly and has done so fro many years. We meet with Jackie Fern from DEQ on November 10 to discuss facilities in the Willamette Valley Ground Water Management Area that are high in nitrates. This system is on the radar for consistently high results. Also present at the meeting was Paul Jennison from the Corvallis SD representing Fairplay Elementary which is one south of the Farm Home and Philip Gebhart of South Nebergall Loop water System in North Albany. We discussed possible factors to high nitrate levels and what is being cone to find possible sources and discuss future remediation and ways to reduce the nitrate load. ACTION NEEDED: Monitor next quarter results.
