Details:	SUMMARY: Boil Water Notice - Grand Ronde Comm Water Assn DETAILS: Spoke with Karl at 5:30 pm today after confirmed E. coli in distribution system. Jan 20 sample was E. coli positive at hebo pump station after several total coliform positives in other areas of system. I explained that given acute health threat a boil water notice is required to be distributed to all users within 24 hours. Karl forwarded copy of notice-which was crafted with help from Polk County Health, and indicated 18 connections nearest to Hebo pump station received hand delivery today. Copies of notices for all users being made this evening. Karl will reach out to various resources (ORWARN, OAWU) this evening to try and moblize people to distribute notification on 1/24. Karl mentioned that 99% of system is residential, no major commercial block users in his system, such as licensed faclities. I requested Karl confirm whether the Grand Ronde Casino & Hotel (separate public system) is receiving any water from Karls system through a metered connection and let DWP know ASAP. ACTION NEEDED: Karl to finish preparing notices ASAP, confirm whether casino and hotel are receiving water or not from his system today (1/23) and let DWP know. I provided OERS after hours # to Karl. DWP to work with Polk County to follow through on public notice requirements and required corrective action to resolve acute public health threat.
