| Details: | SUMMARY: Well head reconstruction DETAILS: Site visit. During the last survey it was noted the wellhead did not extend 12 inches above the concrete slap. It was not noted as a significant sanitary deficiency but one that needed attention. A well contractor was contacted and found that the casing is too deteriorated to add an extension. The casing has rusted to an extent to where the sanitary seal is no longer removable and is questionable on its effectiveness. The only recourse is to replace the casing or to drill a new well and plug the old well. ACTION NEEDED: A letter will be written by Curry Co Health Dept to OPRD requiring action. | ||
