| Details: | SUMMARY: Complaint regarding water quality DETAILS: Angela is deaf and therefore our conversation occurred through emails. Angela wrote to express concerns about chlorine residual levels in the City of Lafayette water system. Angela claims that the residuals seem to fluxuate widely and that at times they are very high. Angela also requested information on purchasing her own test kit to allow her to test chlorine residuals at her home. With regards to the chlorine residual issue, I encourage Angela to contact the water system and work with them to gain more information that would either substantiate her claims or not. I requested that she cc me in any correspondence. I also provided Angela with information about DPD test kits that are available to purchase. ACTION NEEDED: Wait for follow-up from Angela and/or City of Lafayette. | ||
