| Details: | SUMMARY: Checked on sampling status DETAILS: I called Arturo to determine if Brewster had received results back from the IOC samples collected in January. He thought everything had been sent to us, and Jackie at Waterlab confirmed that all results from Brewster are being reported directly to DWP. The remaining lead/copper samples along with SOC and VOC samples have not been collected yet however. Radionuclide results should be returned from Energy Labs near the end of March. I called Arturo again to verify that the settlement signed by Brewster stipulates that these sample results will be submitted to the DWP by April 30. I recommended he collect samples ASAP, because if Brewster waits until the last minute and samples are not submitted by the deadline, then the entire $4,000 civil penalty will be due. Arturo seemed to understand and stated that he will make sure the samples are collected no later than next week. ACTION NEEDED: None | ||
