Details: SUMMARY: Called regarding total coliform MCL violations DETAILS: This water system has exceeded the total coliform MCL for a number of years, and the problem has gone unresolved for that time. The water system has apparently failed to contact the drinking water program (DWP) circuit rider for assistance in discovering the cause of the coliform, and past efforts have generally been unsuccessful. I called Mr. Summers and left a message informing him that the DWP was proceeding towards enforcement action against Fox Hollow Estates due to the violations, and recommended that he take advantage of the free assistance provided through the DWP circuit rider program. I invited Mr. Summers to call me with any questions. I also called Robert Henry and HBH Consulting Engineers (the DWP circuit rider) and asked that he call Mr. Summers in hopes of facilitating a resolution to the situation without the need for formal enforcement action and civil penalties. ACTION NEEDED: Proceed to enforcement if situation remains unresolved.
