| Details: | SUMMARY: Routine total coliform positive DETAILS: Spoke to Frank about positive total coliform sample collected on Wednesday, September 12th at the 8618 SW Panorama location. On Thursday, three repeat samples were collected. Well #1 (SRC-CA) was the only source active at the time and was also sampled. Two repeat samples (upstream and downstream) were total coliform positive. We dicussed the MCL for total coliform, corrective action, and the Tier 2 (30-day) public notice requirements. Waterlines were flushed in the area where coliform was detected followed by sampling. After first flushing, two of three samples collected were total coliform positive. After second flushing, samples collected were absent with exception to one home. A sample collected from the meterbox for the home was absent. The water system concluded that the coliform issue was isolated to one homes plumbing. A resolved Tier 2 public notice was sent to residents September 26th and received by Drinking Water Services on October 3rd. All October follow-up samples were absent. |
