Details: SUMMARY: Alert Coli10700 - One of four distribution repeats tested TC+ DETAILS: 7/16/12 Tim Ryan called and informed me that the routine sample collected on 7/12/12 tested TC+, as did one of the four distribution repeats. I informed Tim that a triggered source sample needs to be collected today and five temp routines are due in August. We discussed sampling methodology and chlorine residual in the distribution system. Tim does not believe that shock chlorination is necessary given the consistent chlorine readings in the distribution system. He will monitor additional points in the distribution system and make adjustments as needed. I e-mailed him a Tier 2 Public Notice template. 7/16/12 The triggered source sample tested E Coli positive. ACTION NEEDED: Five temporary routines need to be collected in the month of August.
