Details: SUMMARY: Investigated lead levels DETAILS: Last year Landon took five lead and copper samples. The teachers lunch room sink and the faucet in their bathroom were above the mcl for lead. After sampling the teachers lunch room sink was above the MCL for lead. Jay Whistler repaired the calcite contactor. Today we took water samples to Toledo Wastewater Treatment Plant and measured pH. The pH in the school distribution system should be a minimum of 7.2. Checked with Fred Kalish and Daniel hough. They both advised to wait to sample until the calcite contactor was running properly. ACTION NEEDED: Jay called today 9/27/12. He called MCClean Filter system. Cortex media strong calcite material should be in calcite contractor. He will add media next week.
