Details: SUMMARY: ASR Well 2 DEHP detect DETAILS: A sample from ASR Well 2 (EP-H) collected 10/16/12 had a low detect of Di(2-ethylhexyl)-phthalate (or DEHP) . The detected level is less than half the MCL for DEHP. ACTION NEEDED: Quarterly monitoring for DEHP is required for at least 2 quarters (or 4 if further detections). This is an ASR well and only recovers water seasonally, therefore the quarterly schedule is set for 2nd and 3rd quarters of 2013 (and possible 2nd and 3rd quarters of 2014). If quarterly results are non-detect, monitoring for DEHP will be set to annual for 3 years prior to returning to a routine schedule (2 consecutive quarters once every 3 years).

Associated Alerts: CHEM5629 - 12/07/2012 - DI(2-ETHYLHEXYL) PHTHALATE
