Details:	SUMMARY: SDWRLF Letter of Interest Assistance DETAILS: The Union Gap Water District buys water from the City of Sutherlin and must raise the service level for the majority of its customers. That is accomplished by a booster pump that pumps the water supplied by the City of Sutherlin to a storage tank that is located at a higher elevation. This will provide the required service level for the District. The existing 34,000 gallon water storage tank was inspected and found to have significant rust. The coating was patched five years ago and given an additional five years of useful life. The tank needs to be replaced with a new water storage tank that will not require significant maintenance. In addition, the existing booster pumps were installed in 1983 and have reached the end of their design life and need to be replaced. A project cost estimate was completed by HBH at the request of Ms Walkins. HBH assisted in the completion of the SDWRLF Letter of Interest (LOI) ACTION NEEDED: If project is funded, the District will need to hire an engineer to design and bid the project.
