| Details: | SUMMARY: Repeat sample positive for coliform and Ecoli DETAILS: I was at the Grants Pass (GP) lab when I got the word the repeat samples were Ecoli positive. I drafted a public notice (PN) and went straight over and met with the on site manager. I explained to him the situation and the action steps in terms of boiling all water and posting the PN. I explained to take the soda unit offline as it was not possible to boil that water. I also reviewed at that time again the items identified in the survey from August 2012 and they would need to be addressed now. These items include raising the well head above grade installing a raw water tap installing a concrete slab. Kyle, the onsite manager, indicated he would get on it and review the items with Kevin and get back to me. Kevin called later to inform me he was contracting with Clouser Well & Drilling to address the situation. I have spoken with this company a few times as well in regard to bringing the water system into compliance and addressing the Ecoli. ACTION NEEDED: More follow up required | ||
