Details: SUMMARY: Donald called last week to question why he got two assessment violations. The system is using 2 sources, but Donald reported one as an irrigation system only. That would be AE. Very confusing - didnt match with Data Online DETAILS: Went to site to figure out system sources. One source AA (no well tag) is out of commission due to switch malfunction. Plans are to repair it by summer. Source AE (well tag L49671) is functional. There is a separate system that draws water from a slough for irrigation - no intertie with drinking water. ACTION NEEDED: Take Assessment sample at the well L49671 now. Take the assessment sample at the old well when repaired this year. Each year you are required to take a source sample off the tap at each well that is contributing water to the system. Mark these samples "Assessment" and be sure to designate the source. These samples are in addition to the current monitoring you do.malk
