Details:	SUMMARY: Positive Ecoli DETAILS: Carrie returned my call concerning the positive Ecoli confirmation sample. I spoke with her about required actions needed to insure safe drinking water. I contacted Dan to inform him of the alert. I spoke to him about posting a public notice providing bottled water and providing hand sanitizer at all hand washing sinks. I also talked to him about options such as reconstructing the well, drilling a new well, or 4 log treatment of viruses and compliance monitoring. I am sending him a public notice template, circuit rider information for free technical assistance and general information about the source water results. Also sending well information to the state Hydro geologist to review the well history for further action. ACTION NEEDED: Post public notice within 24 hours, provide bottled water and hand sanitizer. Follow up corrective action to resolve the fecal contamination of the water such as reconstructing the well, drilling a new well, or providing adequate contact time with chlorine to ensure 4 log virus treatment (large reservoir for contact time)
