| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive Ecoli and coliform DETAILS: Received call from Tony Fields about the positive results. I then contacted the Dorothy Brinkenhoff from Alpine Pump Service they help operate the system. As well I was in contact with Betsy Perry. We reviewed the CT estimate prepared at the last survey. They appear to have good contact time. We suggested they elevate the chlorine level in the distribution to .3ppm. I asked Dorothy to have the chlorine residuals measured and documented over the weekend. Gary Watts was taking the required repeat samples Friday afternoon. Dorothy was going to notify the system users of the issue. Although a formal boil water notice wont be remitted until it is confirmed through repeat tests. There is pre school that operates in the community center. It was not in operation on Friday. If the repeat results arent available on Monday morning Dorothy will contact the preschool operator and suggest they supply bottled water until we get the repeat test results. Dorothy was prepared to administer a public notice if necessary ACTION NEEDED: Wait for repeat results. | ||
