Details: SUMMARY: Nitrate DETAILS: The system is meeting quarterly test requirements to monitor the higher level of nitrates with the period ending in September 2012. The last 4 quarters of nitrate sampling have been consistent and have not exceeded the 10 MCL. State will approve to return nitrate sample to an annual test. ACTION NEEDED: Lead and copper requires 5 samples locations each monitoring period and only 3 were provided last monitoring period. This summer please make sure that 5 samples each from a different tap be taken. Please ensure coliform sample are taken each quarter and double check the web site if do not get posted. The Ground Water Rule requires an annual raw source water sample for coli form before treatment. In 2012 a raw source water sample was not taken or identified in the test results sent. Take a properly identified raw source water sample taken annually
