Details: | SUMMARY: System lost pressure overnight DETAILS: Lost well pump drained the reservoir and lost system pressure. Received phone call from Todd and stated that the system went down last night. He was transporting a water sample to the lab for testing I asked Todd to increase his residual chlorine level to .5-.6ppm in the farthest portions of the distribution. I told Todd the system would have to place a boil water notice I contacted McDonalds and sent information on how to proceed with a boil water. Jim McDummer area supervisor for McDonalds decided he would close until the water issue could be addressed. After water was restored he would flush he system and cha ge the water filters on his ice machine and dump the ice, flush water going to the carbonator for the pop then reopen. I spoke with April Pilot manager and she had taken action and posted the system. I sent info to Pilot/McDonalds and Todd on posting, working with a boil water notice posted. ACTION NEEDED: Test results were phoned to me on Friday approximately 10:45am. The test was negative for total coliforms. Able to remove the posting |
