| Details: | SUMMARY: Response to Di-2 ethyl hexyl phthalate detect well #8 DETAILS: I spoke to Derrick about the 10/31/11 detect of this chemical at 0.00065 mg/L, slightly above the detection limit of 0.0006 mg/L, but less than the MCL of 0.006 mg/L. System to begin quarterly monitoring for individual chemical 7/1/13 due to initial detect greater than the detection limit per OAR 333-061-0036 (3)(a)(C ). DWS to review results after two quarters of monitoring (in January 2014) to re-evaluate any potential follow up detections and see if any monitoring reductions are warranted. We discussed some potential sources of this chemical such as electrical tape used for wellhead equipment. ACTION NEEDED: DWS to offer support to the City to follow up initial detection. | ||
