Details: SUMMARY: Nitrate alert DETAILS: spoke with Brian by phone 5/2/13 regarding 13.2 nitrate result. We discussed posting a public notice and collecting a second sample to confirm the previous results. He emailed photos of the public notice posted in the pub and also at the farm house (currently unoccupied). He agreed to collect and submit a second sample next week. We discussed, pending result, if treatment will need to be installed. Contact report emailed to the state on 5/2/13 with photos of posted public notice. ACTION NEEDED: Second water sample to be collected next week. Then will evaluate for possible treatment to remove nitrates.
