Details:	SUMMARY: Lead and copper exceedance 2/26/13 DETAILS: This system currently treats for lead and copper. The system injects orthophosphate to control the lead an copper. System has two injection locations. One of the locations had run out of orthophosphate at the time of sampling. Operator replaced the empty canister and flushed out all the faucets and bibs. The system operator sampled for lead and copper again. I referred the operator to the Circuit rider for technical assistance. Operator asked about alternate treatment options as the orthophosphate has doubled In price over the past couple if years and is bebecoming prohibitively expensive for the school district. The circuit rider can assist the operator and the system will likely need to take water quality parameters test to re-evaluate its treatment options. If the system changes corrosion control treatment they will need plan review approval. ACTION NEEDED: Monitor follow up sampling with properly operating lead and copper treatment.
