Details: SUMMARY: + ecoli in distribution DETAILS: Luke left a message on Friday 10/11/14 that their routine sample was + for ecoli. I was out of the office on Friday and we did not receive an alert until today. Spoke to Luke and explained that he needed to take repeat samples from the same location, and two of the residences on his coliform sampling plan, and a source sample. He said he would get those taken and submitted today. He said he notified and provided the residents bottled water on Friday. Luke has been working with the Circuit Rider since May of this years due to TC issues. Circuit Rider recommended they replace their reservoir and thought it may be the source of the problem. System hired the Circuit Rider to submit plans to the state for the new reservoir. Jay M. received the plans on 9/11/13. Luke was hoping to have the new tank installed several months ago. He is now eager to get the tank installed. I told him we need to wait to get the results back from the repeats. If the source sample in ND, then I think they should go ahead and install the new reservoir. I spoke to Rebecca T. who will be doing the plan review. She said she would take a look at it today and see if she could give an informal okay to go ahead with the installation. ACTION NEEDED: Wait for results of the repeats.
