| Details: | SUMMARY: Well seal and diversion ditch inspection DETAILS: I made a field visit to the wellhead site to verify that the well casing has been sealed with concrete and that a diversion ditch has been completed. A well house structure has been built around the wellhead. A concrete slab extends about 6" above the ground which has left only about 8" of casing extending above the concrete slab. The building is insulated and the roof can be removed for pump removal. Ventilation is provided to the structure but it needs screening to keep critters out. A gravel ditch is to the West of the building to daylight water draining off the road. Operator is taking daily chlorine residual testing. Quarterly testing has been clean. ACTION NEEDED: Contact DWP technical engineer. | ||
