Details:	SUMMARY: Disinfection Recommendations DETAILS: The Rowena Dell Water System is a small groundwater system in Wasco County. The system owns and operates 2 wells and distribution system. The population of approximately 35 people is served through 15 connections. Since August of 2011, the system has continued to have positive coliform test results. The positive test results have been randomly distributed, with samples coming back absent one test, and showing positive the next. However, throughout testing, the samples taken directly from the wells have not shown any coliform counts. This lead the operator to believe the source of the coliform is coming from their distribution system and not their source. The water system subsequently installed chlorination on its well. Rick Davis called requesting assistance with the chemical feed system as the current pump is losing prime on a sporadic basis.Reviewed existing pump model and configuration. Visited water system to inspect the installation. Provided recommendations for installation improvements. ACTION NEEDED: Provide additional assistance if requested.
