Details: SUMMARY: Lead action level exceedance DETAILS: Portland Water Bureau and its purchasers that participate in the Lead Copper Joint Monitoring Plan exceeded the lead action level of 0.015 mg/L during the last 6-month round of testing conducted November 2013, specifically the 90th percentile results were 0.016 mg/L. Information sent to the water systems this date regarding their responsibilities to provide public education to their users and others in the community. ACTION NEEDED: System needs to complete public education requirements by March 1, 2014 and continue them as long as the lead action level is exceeded.
