Details: SUMMARY: Quarterly nitrate result over MCL DETAILS: System collected a 1st quarter sample and the result was 11.7 mg/l. The system is already in the planning stages of new source investigation and associated water rights. System is required to keep taking quarterly samples until the issue is corrected (either new source or treatment). I emailed the contact and also sent a draft public notice. ACTION NEEDED: Public notice is required to be distributed within 24 hours. Final notice was emailed to DWS on 3/7/14 and a copy was made for the files. System to continue with quarterly nitrate sampling.
