| Details: | SUMMARY: collapsed well for system serving upper lodge and restaurant DETAILS: Learned that this system had its well collapse last summer, and that they have been hauling water from a separate system that supports the lower RV park on the property pws 41 92109 since last summer. Water supply has been a problem at other systems on the lake. They are pursuing a plan to install a line to deliver water from the lower system to the upper. Notified them that while a consolidation of the two systems was possible, it had to be pre-approved by DWP, and that installing a delivery line along the lakes edge where it is subject to flooding was not a workable option. Advised exploring options with a professional consultant: rehab of the well, making sure the remaining good well could supply capacity needs of both operations, hauling additional water from an outside supplier, installing the treatment required to reactivate the lake source, getting the permission needed to have a water line cross the road, etc. At this point the system does not have enough water to operate for the season. Mr. Huber has been tasked with getting aviable plan in place. New on-site managers have no knowledge of system. Former operating partner of LLC has passed away-- former on-site manager no longer works there. ACTION NEEDED: none | ||
