| Details: | SUMMARY: Source e-coli positive at well#2 for sample date DETAILS: I contacted the operator to let him know that the source sample at well #2 was e-coli positive. He let me know that he had just heard from the lab and the well has been turned & valved off from the distribution system. I went out to Riverwood mobile park to check the chlorine residual on this date. The distribution system has about 1 ppm chlorine at the far end of the system toward the waste water treatment plant. I let Curt now that well # 2 needed 5 source assessment samples. I discussed with James at DWS that the system didnt need to be on a boil. Since the well was valved off & distribution system samples being coliform absent. ACTION NEEDED: Monitor source sample results. | ||
