Details: SUMMARY: Taste and Odor Issues DETAILS: The City of Lowell owns and operates a water treatment plant (WTP) and distribution system that serves a population of approximately 1,030 people through 413 connections. Water is treated from Dexter Lake (a manmade reservoir of the Willamette River). The Circuit Rider was contacted by Adam Desemple (OHA-DWS) to potentially provide assistance with recent taste and odor problems at the water treatment plant. Provided City of Lowell with an electronic copy of the Water Master Plan. Reviewed potential taste and odor control equipment and procedures. ACTION NEEDED: Provide further assistance if needed.
