| Details: | SUMMARY: Total Coliform Positive DETAILS: I discussed sampling to be conducted based on total coliform positive for SRC-AB with owner of store Tom Downs. He stated positive result was most likely due to improper sampling methods by person taking sample. Regardless of error, I informed him of need to take 5 repeat total coliform samples (4 samples from distribution system and 1 source water sample) as soon as possible (he already had sampling bottles at time of phone call). This sampling will be followed by 5 routine total coliform samples to be conducted in the month of September. There is currently no coliform sampling plan available and I informed him I would mail him a copy of started template for his water system. After discussion, it was learned that the system has no current way for taking raw water/source samples based on construction of system. I informed Mr. Downs that his system is slated for a water system survey to be conducted in the next few months and this will be a deficiency that will be required to be corrected. Additionally, I informed him that a violation will be generated for failure to take raw water assessment sample after routine positive sample from distribution. He said he will talk to somebody as soon as possible for installation of raw water sample tap at wellhead.
