Details: SUMMARY: routine total coliform positive for sample date 9/4/14 DETAILS: I stopped by & spoke with the operator. I asked him if the sample was taken from the correct sampling location. He said that it had & he even watched the tech sample correctly. He is starting to believe that it may have something to do with the water table being low during the end of summer. Historically this system seems to have coliform detects in the fall. I let him know to take a source sample at the wellhead & 3 repeat samples in the distribution system. I reminded him to take 5 temp routine samples in October. ACTION NEEDED: Monitor follow up samples & respond as necessary
