Details:	SUMMARY: Backwash Waste Control DETAILS: Douglas County Parks owns and operates a Ground Water System at the Chief Miwaleta County Park. Water is taken from a well and treated for iron through a greensand filter. Currently, backwash water is deposited directly on the ground and there is a possibility that the water can make its way to the lake under certain conditions. Jon Everett contacted the Circuit Rider to assist with sizing of an infiltration basin through which to dispose of the wastewater. Provided sizing of an appropriate infiltration trench for the park’s treatment system. ACTION NEEDED: Follow up as needed.
