Details:	SUMMARY: Water Quality ALERT: COLI14024 BEAVER LOOP MHP DETAILS: On Friday 3/27 Larry called re coliform results and requested verification for follow up sampling requirements. (email ALERT from DWS arrived at Coos on 3/30) After clarifying that there is not a continuous disinfection process:1. Take a SOURCE sample from each wellhead (3)2. Take REPEAT samples (3) from the distribution system. One near or at the sample site showing presence of coliform. Advised waiting to get these sample results before doing any shock chlorination. Doing so increases the likelihood of accuracy of results (confirms presence of coliform or not). perhaps there is no need to add chlorine?3. if coliforms are found present in repeats then consider disinfection.4. 5 TEMPORARY ROUTINE samples are due from distribution by end of April. ACTION NEEDED: See above.if coliforms are found present in either repeat samples or temporary routine samples then a public notice is warranted.
