Details: SUMMARY: ALERT coli 14033 presence of coliform in 3-30-15 sample DETAILS: email to Ms WillisHi Debb W, I sent a very similar email to this one on 4/9/15, but I have made changes in this message in order to give you better information.(1)The presence of total coliform in the ROUTINE sample on March 30 should be followed by (2)4 REPEAT samples ASAP and(3)1 SOURCE sample collected the same day as the RepeatsIf your water tap nearest the well is still showing chlorine, you won’t get credit for taking a source sample. If that is the case, you will get a violation whether you spend money on the sample or not. (4)5 TEMPORARY ROUTINE samples are due by the end of April (before taking these samples you want to do all you can to make sure the cause of the March 30 problem is fixed).(5)If results in any of the samples in group (2) or (4) show coliform present then the public notice you have already sent to me becomes required to go to your tenants as well as copied to dwp.dmce@state.or.us Missing any of the 5 items above is a separate violation. Do your best to meet each applicable requirement. ACTION NEEDED: see next contact report
